Hi, I’m Joana
A little bit of myself…
When people ask me what defines me as a person I always say creativity. I am a Creative person.
On top of that I am a polymath. I love an array of different things, and most importantly, I enjoy to combine them in a way that no one has done it before. I like to take advantage of my unique skills and paint a unique canvas.
I am beyond excited to be able to finally share something that I have been working on for a while… Something that started as a such personal journey, yet something that makes more than sense to go online. This is the platform I have always wanted to create, so I could explore my lifelong thesis.
I love diving into the science behind food properties and their health benefits. It’s fascinating how different ingredients can nourish our bodies and enhance our well-being!
I will try to summarise by professional path…
My professional career and academic studies have been diverse. I studied Nuclear Medicine, then Biomedical Engineering and later on I did an intense course on Theatre, Cinema and Arts.
(Almost in a previous life) I started by working at a hospital, then I did research on radio-pharmacy and atomic and molecular physics, I worked as a Frontend Developer, as Program/Project Manager and UX /UI Designer.
I’ worked at Microsoft for seven years as an Engineer and Program Manager. Over these years, I have had the privilege of being a keynote speaker and trainer at global events. My contributions as a Community New Hires Ambassador and New Hires Community EMEA Lead have been significant. I was also honoured with the Customer Hero Global Impact Award.
In addition to all that I’ve shared, if you do not find me at the kitchen developing new recipes I will most likely devote time to my other passions such as composing music, drawing, traveling, writing, reading, somewhere in nature or even more likely at the sea.

My Approach
In the fascinating realm of physics, a photon defies easy categorisation — it behaves both as a particle and a wave. Similarly, holistic health embraces a comprehensive approach that transcends traditional boundaries, allowing eastern and western knowledge to coexist harmoniously. In this context, both ancient wisdom and contemporary scientific knowledge are considered valid and correct. Holistic health recognises that healing and well-being can benefit from a blend of approaches, whether rooted in traditional practices or modern scientific research.
Clarity and Transparency
Food is medicine, but first you need to understand the properties of each food. I will always explain the Eastern and Western side so you can fully understand why certain foods are beneficial to you as an individual. You will have free access to content that will empower you in this path, with the option to have a personalised and individual experience with my services (I promise it will be worth it, don’t be afraid to invest in yourself !)
